Open House - November 20, 2004
Air Ride Technologies have put on lots of tech sessions throughout the U.S. and felt they were ready to take the show to Canada. Tony Bicknell and Trent Summers kicked off (on Grey Cup Saturday) the first Horton Open House of the 2004-05 season. Bob Hilton provided his Air Ride equipped S10 Pro Touring for "visual aid".
Tony and Trent have tons of air suspension experience and, after a 15 minute introduction to Air Ride Technologies, fielded questions from the full house. In fact, the problem was that there were too many people for the 2,000 square foot unit that was used for the session. After an hour and a half of answering questions from the crowd, Trent and Tony stayed around and talked one-to-one with builders. This made serving lunch (delicious, lean Dettweiler sausage again!) a steady but manageable job for Eleanor Snyder and Sarah Horton. Lily Horton helped out, too, by being quiet. Well, she is only 9 months old. Elsie Hornby helped by playing (a young) "Grandma" for about an hour!
Lowdown Hotrods had their shop open for visitors the same day, so people could see projects on Air Ride and talk with Lowdown about their work.

The Horton Project 32 (with Air Ride ShockWaves on the back) was on display with the Bear 3-window body in place and a Wise Guys seat ready for upholstery. Come back in January to see how much more has been done.

No Open House in December, but watch the home page for details of the January thru' April dates.
