Paul kicks off the session. Among other things, Paul thanked everyone for attending the open houses and mentioned that plans were underway for November of 2003 and Winter 2004.

Paul introduces Jim Schablein of Soff Seal. Jim is a long time
rodder and represents the Street Rod Division at Soff Seal.

Jim provided an overview of the common uses of Soff Seal products in the hot rod aftermarket. Specifically, weatherstripping, seals, bumpers and body mounting products.
Soff Seal products are all of OEM quality.

Jim stressed that preparation was essential to a successful
installation when using a self-adhesive product.
That is, get the surface nice and clean for a great, long lasting result.

Jim, assisted by Cindy, simulates the installation of weatherstrip on a door bottom.

As usual, there were lots of good questions from a full house.

Soff Seal display boards were on hand and product literature
and installation guides were provided to all in attendance.
With the fair weather, some of our guests (and open house staff)
had their cars on hand. It provided us with a taste of the rodding season.
