The theme for our first open house of the fall 2002/winter 2003 season was Basic Street Rod Chassis Construction. When kicking it off, Paul made it clear that while he was the "guy up front", he was hoping that the session would be an interactive one. That is, not just between himself and those in attendance (and there were many) but also between the street rodders in attendance. As it turned out, there was plenty of interaction, good tips from the floor and lots of Q&A's.

Paul kicked off the session. Look for some of the basic frame principles
in the Syracuse chassis tech session article on our News page.

Paul emphasized a philosophy that has been used by Horton for some time:
Keep it simple and safe

Paul moved on to the 5 elements that exist when undertaking a project
and explained that these elements would vary by individual and, as such,
would drive the other elements up or down. Good common sense.

A full house at the morning session.
There was plenty going on in the showroom also - before and after the session.
